The Central States Manufacturing Scholarship Program offers education scholarships to dependents of regular full-time Central States employees. The purpose of the program is to provide opportunity for eligible high school seniors and college students to pursue their career goals and encourage students to continue education beyond high school.
Please note: This is a competitive scholarship program. The program will distribute $30,000 to applicants on a tiered basis depending on the application criteria.
Scholarship’s Eligibility Requirements: Applicants will be awarded scholarships based on their academic performance and personal character. Special consideration will be given to those with the strongest financial need.
Scholarship applicants must be:
- Dependent of a regular full-time Central States employee.
- High school graduate or current high school senior planning to enroll for the 20/21 Academic Year as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) at an accredited U.S. college, university, technical program or trade school that results in a certificate or diploma. This scholarship is only open for undergraduate degree programs. Masters’ or Doctorate programs will not be considered.
- Applicants must be in good academic standing and provide a copy of his or her transcript with a minimum 2.0 grade point average (as of Fall 2019) based on a 4-point scale, or provide proof of GED completion.
