Welcome to the Mostafa Golbaba Legacy Charitable Fund, a donor advised fund established by the Golbaba family to honor the life and legacy of Professor Mostafa M. Golbaba.

While Mostafa left us unexpectedly, we are committed to continuing his legacy in education, justice, and community empowerment.  He dedicated his 38-year career to Langston University, Oklahoma’s only HBCU, and the channel through which he mentored thousands of students (even calling them on Friday nights to remind them their quiz is due in an hour!). Perhaps his most cherished work was tackling the injustices of our society by pioneering Langston’s Second Chance Program at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma, where he taught inmates earning college degrees.

This Fund will provide (1) a memorial scholarship to Langston University in his honor as well as charitable contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations working on making the world a more just, equitable place for all through education and accessible opportunities for the marginalized.

The ancient Persian mantra Dr. Golbaba always reminded his children of was “Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds.” With this in mind and heart, we will dedicate each day forward in giving back to the community he so cherished. Thank you for joining us to do just that.
